Is your baby starting to roll?
Once your baby shows signs of rolling, swaddling is no longer safe. Sleepy Hugs is designed for this stage. It’s for babies who have outgrown the swaddle and need free arm movement, but still want a sense of security to calm the startle reflex. It’s perfect for tummy rollers.
- Safe for rolling. Free arm movement lets your baby roll and sleep in their natural position, including on their tummy.
- Calms the startle reflex. The arms-in design gives womb-like security while still letting baby reach their hands to self-soothe.
- Gentle on skin. Fully enclosed hands help prevent scratching, which is great for eczema-prone babies.
- Healthy hips. The wide sack leaves room for natural hip development.
- Easy night changes. A two-way zipper opens from the bottom up, so you can change nappies without fully undressing baby.
- Breathable organic cotton. Soft and naturally breathable, so baby won’t overheat.
Includes our ‘Extra Hug’ Belly Band (optional). It adds a snug feel around the tummy for babies who miss the swaddle. Learn more

Transition from swaddle to free arms without losing sleep!
Once your baby is showing signs of being able to roll, swaddling is no longer safe. Sleepy Hugs is safe for babies who have started to roll onto their tummy during sleep as they are able to move their arms into their preferred position.
The Sleepy Hugs Extra-Wide sack is designed for babies that need to wear a hip brace, pavlik harness, rhino brace, or spica cast and sleep better in a swaddle suit that offers unrestricted arm movement yet provides just enough security to combat the startle reflex.
This 'Cool' range is made of a soft, light mesh fabric to encourage air circulation around your baby, keeping their body temperature cool and constant to help your baby sleep more comfortably on warm nights.

What Parents Are Saying
The Only Transition Suit That Works!
"Tried LTD, Sleepy Company but bubs only got thru 30 mins.. I was so desperate and saw this suit was similar to Zippadee which had great reviews in USA on reddit.. Bub slept 6 HOURS straight that night for first time ever! 🙌🌈
Don't hesitate just buy it!" - Anouk
Sleep Saver
"When my twins started rolling I knew I had to have arms out, I tried so many sleep sacks with arms out and they wouldn't sleep! Then I found the baby loves sleep sacks and what game changer!!! The twins now sleep perfectly through the whole night and I have the peace of mind that if they roll, they are safe and can still move." - Tash
Such An Easy Transition
"My 5 month old who just recently started rolling absolutely loves it. Has actually been sleeping a full 12 hours overnight using these. I personally love the belly band and it has made such a massive difference in the ease of transitioning. I have tried other transitioning swaddles and sleep sacks in the past and my son hated them all. This brand is 110% worth the money amazing soft, top tier quality fabric. Cannot say anything negative about them! I have tried for more than a week before reviewing but if your considering this brand I would 100% recommend them for any bubba transitioning from swaddles 💖💖💖" - Kassie
It's all about the arm span
The Sleepy Hugs is all about the arm span - the key is to measure your baby's arm span to get the correct size. If too big, your baby will not get the security and snug fit that they still need in the arms. More importantly, if too big there could be excess fabric that could pose a safety risk.
The best fit is a snug fit
Designed to help your baby gently transition to free arms, the Sleepy Hugs sleep suit will be most effective if you choose the size that will give your baby a snug fit in the arms.

How to measure your baby's arm span
The correct way to measure your baby's arm span is to measure with your baby’s arms slightly bent - this is how your baby sleeps naturally, then measure the tops of their hands from one side to the other (left to right or right to left).
Do not measure with your baby's arms fully stretched out - you will not get the right fit.
